Difference between type A, B and C
In general, the beautiful effect for all is alike. The size of the photograph determines the choice you can make. Since acrylic does easy warp on larger sizes a reinforcement by applying a reverse dibond plate can be necessary. In addition, it is also a protection for the back of the photograph
| Type A |
- this is a single bond to 4 mm acrylic
- suitable for images to be hung and no larger than 40 x 30 cm
|
| Type B1 / B2 / B3 |
- 2 mm acrylaat and 2 mm dibond sandwich
- only in size 21 x 28 cm, 24 x 24 cm and 27 x 18 cm
- including hook
- including stand
- suitable for hanging and placing on a table or desk
|
| Type B |
- 2 mm acrylaat and 2 mm dibond sandwich
- suitable for images no larger than 45 x 45 cm
- basically includes a 1 cm thick PVC foam frame
|
| Type C |
- 3 mm acrylaat and 3 mm dibond sandwich
- suitable for all mages
- basically includes a custom made sub-frame (U-frame 2 cm high) for hanging
- when the panels are backed with Aluminum (dibond) it does reinforce the rigidity of the finished picture
- also the attachment of the sub-frame does allow the artwork to hang on the wall, from where it will appear to “float” with no obvious means of support
